short talk : i dropped my ipod while running back home when it rained all of a sudden while i was jogging this evening. i traced it back 3 streets from where i realized it was gone and how retarded for me to lose it without noticing the 'lack of music' for a-3-streets-run?!
think social media...think of how much it changed our lifestyle over the years.
take for instance, if i ever needed anything, i'll just msn my friend who stays next door and he'll msn back with the stuffs i need...(whatever happened to the good old days of walking over there and ask?)
take fb for example, i got a friend who doesn't have the balls to talk to random girls at random places and relies on fb to get to know more female friend. (cmon when the hell this will ever works?!). from time to time, he'll add any female contact he came across and starts to engage in 'conversations' and soon, charmed dozen of girls with his 'online personalities' however in the real deal, he's a pussy who doesn't even have the balls to look her in the eye!
and then, there's the story of an employer who fired hi employee via email. unfortunately for the employee, he didnt get the message and went to work as usual the following morning and continued for at least a week until his boss finally realized he's still there and 're-fires' him on the spot.
next, the story of an employer firing his employee on fb via comment on his post where he insulted his former employer openly....owned!
for the past couple of weeks, twitter has been bombarded with tweets concerning #yorais and how fucking funny it was...(like cmon la mr minister are we that shallow for allowing social networking invade our 'moral values'?) LOL
finally, our very own story where a malaysian student who was charged over 'gas bomb hoax' over fb. overhyped by the media, citizens began making own conclusions on how he was involved (directly/indirectly).
also a blogger was charged with sedition act for allegedly insulting the late sultan.....
think social media.... think of how much it changed our lifestyle
think again
