1.2 The Ice Cream Man

at first i have drafted an entry with the same title and accidentally posted it - hah how convenient. it was totally something different from what i actually intended to write about but i really dont care anymore. the reason is overwhelming, take for instance im not the psychotic bastard who talks about healthcare in some gross tv show or do a 180 while jumping off a 10' pole at the same time attempts to backflip, im just seeing things recently. beautiful things that reflects all the setbacks that we faced, facing and will be facing one day.

im not exactly angry right now. because when im angry, i do stupid things. this is certainly not on my anger checklist

you know there were times when we do something which could leads us recalling the moments of our childhood? moments where mostly laughs than tears? moments where we wished to hell we get to see again before it flashes before our very eyes when we're on our deathbeds? i'll be damned if i say i dont.

over the week, im had fun. fun that was too little compared to of what i had back those days. fun where we just do what we fell like doing. it was like just me against the world back then. we couldnt care less about the world we're living in, the rules of society, the no touching rules etc etc when we're younger. it was just fun. pure fun.

i remember back then, we were forced to set up the table every evening for dinner and we'll be murmuring about how unfair life is bla bla bla. occasionally, we'll be rewarded some extra change after we're done setting up the table and then, off to the front of the house, waiting patiently for the bell of the ice cream man to be heard. sometimes, mom would be so furious that she'll lock us out for enjoying ice creams instead of her hardworked cooked dinner, which we portrayed no interest in whatsoever. at the end of the day, it was dad to the rescue. opening the door for us. then we'll just run upstairs and hide in the closet. :)

and now its 13 years later, i still hope that i get the chance to wait patiently at the front of the house, still waiting for the ice cream man to come.....
