O Terminator, Where Art Thou?

Definitely a memorable night to remember. Ever since a few days ago, we had planned to watch Terminator Salvation on the screening day (which was yesterday though). Sadly enough, we'd really ran out of luck this time :( Simply put, Murphy's law kicks in big time.

To begin with, we're supposed to have left college by 8.00. Earlier, Liren had checked the showtime for the movie. There were 3 time slots available ; 9.30, 10.30 and 11.00. Early calculation suggested that leaving college by 8.00 was perfect since we're going to Seremban to have dinner there too. Due to sudden change of plan (slight deviation), we left college around 8.40 (?). (ML's effect #1)

The drive to there was okay I guess (playing with radio buttons and blaming each other who hit the 'next' button). We reached there around 9pm. (?) On deciding where to eat, there goes 10 minutes. 10 minutes of time we don't have. (ML effect #2).

Votes were taken and final decisions were made - Kenny Rogers Roasters. ;) Customer service at Kenny Rogers was dreadful. That added to our misery. (ML effect #3) Well wth we're there for Terminator Salvation, so to hell with their service. ;) Then something occured to us. The 10.30 slot is in another cinema which is a 10 minutes drive from where we're having our dinner. Since by the time we got there its already 9.00pm, so to hell with the 9.30 slot as well.

Talking cock was always inevitable when there's at least 6 balls sitting at 1 table, let alone there was 10 ;) We talked so much cock until the waitress had to come by our table presenting us the bill. Little did we know that they were closing the counter already. And we're the last ones there. ;)

Time passed us by sky-rocketing fast and by the time we're done, its already 10.20 when we left Kenny Rogers. So we thought wth since we're here why don't we just settle for the 11.00 slot. *hopes were high* We went upstairs (where's the cinema is located) and to our despair, tickets for Terminator Salvation had been sold out! FML =( (ML effect #6753981730!)

"FUCK THIS SHIT"! Frustrated, we cursed and cursed and spelled out more curses. Its already 10.35 when we decided to go to MBO to check out the 10.30 slot or if there's other slots other than the 10.30 one. There's isn't any =( Given up, we went back to Jusco and bought tickets for Monsters Vs Aliens instead. *sigh*

Our gateway to boredom

It's not that Monsters vs Aliens is bad or anything like that (it very amusing, loads of fart jokes and Reese Witherspoon & Kiefer Sutherland (both my fav actor and actress!) both borrowed their voices for this film! The actions are good (for an animated film) and the jokes are pure. All in all, its a good show (a definite 7.5 for me). But then again, we're felt somewhat something is missing. Because we're there

to watch this! *grumbles*

instead, we watched this. FML
